Beware of Summer Gums!!

Now that school is out and summer is finally here, kids often get out of their usual brushing and flossing routine during their fun and exciting long summer days hanging out with friends and family. They are sleeping in longer, going to bed late, eating and drinking all day long. Their teeth will build up plaque and their gums will get red, irritated and unhealthy real fast. Continue to brush, and floss thoroughly every morning and every night, eat good, healthy foods, and drink plenty of water all throughout the summer. Don’t fall victim to the dreaded “SUMMER GUMS!” Be good to your teeth and gums and they will be good to you!
